Bridgeport Area

Weather Report

Don't forget your water bottles and sunscreen as you hit the lakes, rivers and creeks. The water's reflection seems to like to help the sun in its constant attempts to turn us all bright red and leave us sadly remembering the trip. Remember life jackets for the kids if you are fishing from a boat!

REPORT AS OF 7/21/18

Anglers are having luck from both the shore and a boat. Trolling at a depth of 40ft has brought in stringers of kokanee. Flat lining wooly buggers have brought in both browns and rainbows. Bait fishers have been having the best luck with pinched crawlers, mice tails, green power bait, and night crawlers. The biggest fish brought in this month was a 5lb 1oz on nightcrawlers. The biggest this week was a 3lb 8oz caught on a micetail. The water temp has been around 54 degrees. Fish and game last stocked on 6/26.
